Motivational Prayer!

Elijah is faced with a monumental task of silencing the idol worshipers of Baal and declaring the praises of the Living God. The contest is set for the real God to answer by fire from Heaven!

Most of us probably pray this prayer for revenge, or at least to prove that God is on our side. But Elijah has seen the heart of God and His heart is for all people.

1 Kings 18:37
"Answer me, lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again."
