In His Image & Likeness

Christ came to us as a human being. As such, He was made identical to us in our humanity, minus sin because He had no earthly father. Now Paul points out that "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God". That is being said of Him as a human being, like us. God said in Gen. 1: 26 "Let us make human beingss in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground."

27 So God created human beingss in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

Here is the point, You too were created as the visible image of the invisible God as a human being, and through Christ have been restored to your "spiritual/relational" position with the Father. Christ was not a special "human being" in the since of being different from us. He was a human being period. So again, see yourself as you are, a human being who id the "visible image of the invisible God".
