What are you thankful for in your church?

We tend to be thankful in American churches for:
1. Great attendance.
2. A great offering.
3. A new building.
4. The decisions for Christ.
5. Baptisms.
6. Unexpected financial blessings.
7. A stabilized budget.

All of those are great and some are really wonderful. But Paul thanked God because he saw discipleship happening in this church.

"We ought always to thank God for you...because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing."

That's a sign discipleship happens. Jesus told us it would be our love for one another in community that would mark to the world we are His!

Celebrate MOST when discipleship happens.
And it will happen again and again and again.
