Fearful Worship!

Fear does crazy things to us all.
Mostly, fear paralyzes us and renders us helpless from functioning properly.
Have you ever been that scared that you can't move?
I used to be terribly scared of heights, and one time I was stuck on a ledge that I had to cross. I was too scared to keep going but there was no way I was going back the way I had just come. I was paralyzed! It took me more 30min to talk myself through it.

Imagine being that scared as a Christian!
There are many around the world that are in hostile situations because of their faith, and others who would be in a hostile situation if anyone was ever to find out.

What would you do?
Maybe we would never know until the situation arose?
Perhaps we should contemplate it in case it ever does?

Ezra 3:3
Despite their fear of the peoples around them, they built the altar on its foundation and sacrificed burnt offerings on it to the lord, both the morning and evening sacrifices.

God has kept the light burning through our ancestors. There has always been a remnant that would pass on the way of the Lord to others, regardless of the persecution or the fear. These are the ones that didn't change just because they were afraid. They continue to worship God in fear and trembling!

They built the altar on it's foundation...
- what is your heart built on?
- what are your foundational beliefs?

When you love God passionately and fully devote yourself to Him, it is possible to worship God in any and every circumstance...
