ONE - Help Or Hinderance!
Theme: Sin vs Righteousness / Blessing
Scripture: Romans 5:17 for if, by the trespass of one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and the gift of righteousness regin in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
Observation:This whole portion of scripture from v12 -21 highlights the power of (ONE)
We see:
V12 Sin entering through ONE mans actions & the death through that sin to ALL,
V15 The Trespass of ONE caused many to die,
V15 The Gift of God & His grace came through ONE,
V17 Abundant provision of grace & the gift of righteous reign came through ONE,
V18 ONE trespass brought condemnation to all & ONE act of righteousness brings justification & life to ALL,
V19 ONE mans disobedience & we all became sinners and the ONE mans obedience we can all be made righteousness.
Application: We must never underestimate the power of ONE single act of either disobedience or righteousness in our lives. Both of them will produce a harvest for the people in our worlds either bringing a death or life. We must remember no one sins alone for we are all interconnected and our actions have an effect on those closest to us. I must always remember the power of ONE when I am faced with choices in life to either be obedient or disobedient to our heavenly Father's requests. We will either become the greatest blessing or the biggest hinderence to the people in our world!
Prayer: Father help me to realize that ONE sinful act of disobedience is harming people in my world, however ONE simply act of obedience will surly bring them blessing.
