Scripture: 1 Kings 10:1 - When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relation to the name of the Lord, she can to test him with hard questions.

Observation: The queen of Sheba had heard two things about Solomon.

1. His Fame,

2. His Relation to the name of the Lord,

Once she heard about this she just had to come and investigate for herself. She thought if this guy really is well connected to God then he should be able to answer all the questions I have about life. So she tests him on all and comes to the conclusion he truly is well connected to the name of the Lord. As she leaves she makes one final comment that everyone who gets to work and be around Solomon is blessed indeed!

Application:  People should hear about our lives everywhere they go in relation to the name of the Lord. They should then feel compelled to seek us out to get the questions they have about life answered, then they should leave carrying the blessing they have encountered to others. They should leave making the declaration that everyone who gets to be around you is blessed because of your relationship with God. A great goal to strive towards!

Prayer: Father help me to carry your presence and power is such a way that people are drawn to seek out you in me for answers to life questions. Teach me how to inspire others to live the same way...
