Jesus Can Give You Hope

Does this verse mean "A Christian can lose his/her salvation"?

Answer: No, just because one is around Church and been taught Faith & Repentance; however, they never, Repent nor couple their Faith with works - systematically results in one proving, they were never saved in the first place; thus it is impossible for someone to be saved apart from Faith & Repentance. (e.g. one cannot deny Christ/Faith in Jesus and expect to be saved - that is impossible)

It is impossible to be saved apart from Jesus. You cannot taste Jesus and have heard the word of God and then say "I don't want that" and be saved.

People wrongly assume this text is speaking about Christians.

What Are The Elementary Principals of God?

- Repentance from Dead Works (i.e. Old Testament Law, is dead because Jesus fulfilled it/ended the need to follow it.
- Washings, again OT Law but added legalism. The Judiazers added to thr Word of God additional expectations/preferences/opinions regarding Washings to God's Word.
- Laying On of Hands - the approval of one to do something.
- Resurrection - the Judiastic understanding of the End Time Resurrection
- Eternal Judgment - The Judiastic understanding of Sheol, Hades, Lake of Fire, Second Death ect.

The above are the "A,B,C's" of Christianity.

Being around Truth does not equate to Christianity.

Outward conformity does not equate to Christianity.

Both systematically prove one was never saved to begin with.

One's misunderstanding of one verse does not outshine other clear verses teaching "Once Save, Always Saved" [Ephesians 1:13, 4:30; John 10:28-29; Philippians 1:6; 1 John 1:5-9, 5:13; Hebrews 3:12-19]

This text is saying, "It is not that God would not forgive them if they asked...[it is] they are beyond the pace of wanting to ask" - Pastor Phil Humber

You cannot NOT believe in Christ and live a life based on works.

A Saved heart results in fruit/good works.

Salvationg > Regeneration > Transformation

Just like "April showers bring May flowers".

Salvation Is...
- Theological: a correct understanding of scripture/doctrine
- Historical: it happens at one particular time (Positional Sanctification)
- Experiential: It results in good works [1John 2:3]

What Should I Do?
the fact that you care to ask, proves you have not reached "impossible"
You should act now
