God's Communicator

In the days before Jesus' birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension, God sent angels to communicate with human kind. They always seemed to strike fear and amazement into every one who saw them. People wanted to worship them and offered things to them, but they knew their place.

After Jesus returned to the Father, we soon came to know a new Messenger from God- His Holy Spirit. This Messenger is far more personal and direct. And this Messenger, a manifestation of God Himself, goes further than the angels- He resides within our very lives! No longer do we have to wait for or ask for a return visit from a messger of God. We have THE Messenger Himself in us and through us as we look to follow Jesus.
