Trying To Be Greater Than God- Judges 16
God gives us gifts and abilities but He wants us to remember where they came from, not only to glorify Him and keep us grateful, but also because He doesn't want us to screw up and be our own downfall. He knows we are imperfect and we should remember that God really does know best. We need to seek God's purpose for our gifts and our lives.
When Samson forgot God and followed his own path instead of God's, bad things happened. This makes me look at my own life and ask, "For what am I not giving God the credit and control of?"
