Remember YOUR Future!

Scripture: Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
Observation: When we were created God put within every human being the reason why they exist. It is firmly entrenched in the DNA of every child and early in life it starts to present itself in pure unbridled passion and joy. If you study the child carefully the child will tell you as a parent what it has been created to do and be.
Unfortunately then school starts and confusion begins as option after option is presented year after year, and year after year it gets worse as the ask becomes more intense and the pressure to decide what you will be in life looms closer. Many young people, by the time they finish school, have forgotten who God created them to be and now they are full of all sorts of ideas and plans they have been bombarded with. Many sit just throwing their hands in the air in complete confusion, or worse still they pick something they end up hating all their life!
Application: We have to take a trip backwards in order for us to move forward. We need to reflect on what we really enjoyed doing before all the confusion set it. If we can re-discover that we can get beyond the confusion and step into God's purpose for our life. We will discover why we are actually on the planet and experience the joy of truly loving our work and life! When we discover the Lord's purpose for our life, our life finally begins to prevail!
Prayer: Father help me to continue to work out your purpose for my life so that my life in your purpose may prevail. Then help me to inspire others to do the same! Help us to remember OUR future!
