"Storm Stories: When God Sends the Storm"
Acts chapter 27 (see all)

1. God sends the storm when men refuse to acknowledge him

2. God sends storms when men trust their own devices

***If God puts you in the storm, trust Him***
Prov 3:5

Paul said "Do not be afraid!" When you are afraid, you make poor decisions.

They cut the ties on the boat. You have to do the same: cut the ties to the past.

Sometimes God calms the storm & sometimes He calms the sailor!

3. God sends the storm when men need His salvation

"They let the wind guide them." The Holy Spirit will guide you where you need to go.

"They had to go through the water." In the same way everyone should go through water baptism.

4. God, sometimes, sends the storm, but he also sends a servant.

"God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you."

275 others were saved that day.
