honesty + integrity = protection
He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. Proverbs 2:7 NLT
It’s seems as though being protected and having common sense happen when there is honesty shown and integrity lived out. This makes perfect sense when I define the words.
The definition of honest is… not given to lying, cheating, stealing, etc; trustworthy.
The definition of common sense is… plain ordinary good judgment; sound practical sense.
The definition to integrity is… adherence to moral principles; honesty
The people that I know and would consider to be the wisest are those that are the most honest. They really do have common sense and seem to make all the right choices. Making right choices and having integrity both together is like a shield from life’s obstacles.
God please help me to live this out today. I want to be shielded with Your Word by living out a life of honesty and integrity.
