Open My Eyes to the Prize
Today I realize that in 1 Corinthians Chapter 9, Paul talks heavily about being able to receive provision through our dedication to serving GOD. Whether in ministry or your personal life I believe this is true and I know that I am guilty of not keeping my focus on my servant life as I should. Today i strive to focus heavily on what Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 9:24 as "running to win". When my eyes are placed on the battles of this world instead of the victories of the kingdom, my focus seems to take my servant life in the wrong direction. I am now focused on the Prize: Eternal Life with Christ and not this temporary stay on Planet Earth.
