Idols

We don't make idols from precious metals anymore, but we still make idols in our minds and hearts. God, help me not to make people's approval, personal goals, health, pleasure and comfort, my job, my family or anything else an idol. I repent of making these things idols. Please help me through your mercy and grace to live with You as my true God and to learn to listen to Your voice and study your Word so that I can know how to obey You.
