beautiful now
11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 NLT
We all want beautiful now; relationships, happiness, joy, peace… For some of us we feel like we’ve earned it and we want things to be perfect sooner than later and when we don’t get it it’s hard to understand why. Sometimes we forget that God has created us to live for eternity and that from His perspective He knows what we need and when we need it. However it’s impossible for us to see what and how He sees. And even though we can’t see as He sees for some reason inside every heart is a desire to live forever because death is so final and painful. All of this should give us more evidence of a real God that created us.
I can never see as God sees and never know what God knows. I just have to remember that God operates from an eternal perspective and from infinite knowledge and wisdom. I have to continue to trust God that in his time the desires of my heart will be satisfied and realize that my desires are continually being formed as he forms me.
God thank you for Your Word, It will remind me throughout today that You have all things worked out and Your will and decisions are perfect for me as you know my eternal future.
