Why is Jesus' promises better?

Jesus promises of salvation is better...

1.) Because of His position.

- Jesus is a "seated" high priest. This means the Priest's Attonment work is finished. The OT Priest's atonement work was not complete, the continually offered sacrifices to atone for the people's sins. Therefore, they could not "rest" from offering Sacrifices for the crushing load of all the Spiritual debt. Jesus sat down because his work of atoning the crushing load of all the Spiritual debt is finished.

- Jesus is seated at the right hand of The Father Psalm 118:6 Psalm 80:17

- Jesus' seat is in Heaven. Ephesians 1:20

- Jesus continues to serve us. His redeeming work is finished; however, He continues to serve His redeemed by being the mediator/messenger of praises and thankfulness between humans and The Father.

2.) Because of His crucial Ministry.

- Jesus is a mediator Hebrews 8:6. Serving His redeemed. This is a better Covenant thab the Ademic, Noahic, Abrahamic and Davidic Covenant. Because Jesus' promises are established on better promises than those Covenants - Because of his position, Ministry - Jeremiah 31:13.
