godless
Most of us reading scripture on this site are believers, and some are even followers. We gather at an oasis of truth, and we share the bounty of God's Word with one another. But what about those far from the oasis, in the desert of despair and absurdity. Imagine for a moment the life you knew before Jesus Christ found you, and you surrendered to His offer of love. You were frankly in the hell of your isolation, and had no way out.
Jeffrey is a person I "met" through his blog site. Jeffrey is like you and me before we were rescued from the hell of our rebellion, pride, and supposed self-sufficiency. Jeffrey's atheism frightens me frankly. I am fearful of how his attitudes might influence me, bringing me doubt or even despair. I tend to shun persons like Jeffrey.
The danger we now have as we bask in the luxury of this oasis is to distance ourselves from those "out there" in the desert. Being Christian was never meant to be a tribal experience of "us" and "them."
