We see here that the king of Judah like many of us see that we make a mistake and instead of reversing the mistake we weigh the cost and determine our actions based on a cost analyst. We see the prophet of God thinks differently... The cost is never worth disobedience to God. Next time we are in a situation where we are tempted to say well it's too late to do anything about it now....remember it is never too late to obey God.
