Question: Why Does God Care About
The PROMISED land... described it as "a land the LORD your GOD CARES about. He WATCHES OVER IT all year long."
How interesting that there is this piece of land on our planet that God cares about... that He watches over it day and night. Is this the only instance in the Bible where it says God cares about something other than a human being? Something so abstract as a piece of land?
Gill's Exposition explains that "this spot was what [God] had chosen for His own residence, and the place of His worship, and for an habitation for His peculiar people; He exercised a more peculiar care over it, to make it fruitful, commodious and pleasant."
So interesting, FATHER. I will be thinking about this today...
