Here we see an awesome king called uzziah... God mad him successful against his enemies and so he marches into the temple and his pride tells him the temple rules don't apply to him and uzziah violates temple practices that God had set up for only the priest. Result uzziah gets leprosy and his son takes over the kingship. Pride's common tact "the rules don't apply to you."
