what good are we?
Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they? Isaiah 2:22 NLT
Since the very beginning we have all been broken and are prone to let each other down. God’s purpose and answer for brokenness was Jesus. In the context of knowing God first we can deal with the frailty of the human condition and learn to love, forgive and find trust in one another.
I need to remember that outside of putting God at the front of my life and relationships the letdowns that I have with people will hurt worse. However, inside the context of God’s Salvation, love and grace I can find love, forgiveness and understanding to what we all face which is brokenness.
God, thank you for this reminder today on how to view people in this world and the human condition. None of us are perfect and we are all frail but through the filter of viewing things through your eyes I can find understand, love and forgiveness even when I am let down.
