Aaron took all the earrings and jewelry from the Israelites and made an idol out of it in the shape of a calf.
The Lord told Moses to go down and see the corruption of His people.
The Lord was fuming made and was going to destroy them all until MOSES TALKED HIM OUT OF IT.
Moses saw the Israelites and now he was fuming mad.
He took the tablets and threw them down breaking them, took the calf idol and burned it into powder, put the powder in water and made the Israelites drink it!
Aaron then blamed all the Israelites for the decision he made to let the people run wild and out of control.
the Levites rallied to Moses and he ordered them to kill everyone who was corrupt (including sons, brothers and friends).
The Lord forgave the rest, but said He would punish them later and He struck them with a plague because of Aaron making the idol (THIS CHAPTER IS INSANE!).
