No more than you can handle
This in my opinion is one of the most misquoted scriptures. Most people say that it says God will not give us more than we can handle. They refer to hardships and trouble, but that is extremely different than temptation. The Greek word for temptation is peirasmos. It is the same word used in the passage when Satan tempts Jesus.
