Jesus Claims His Inheritance

2 And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.3 The Son radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.
God had promised EVERYTHING to His Son as an inheritance. Everything is Everything! You and I were created as a significant part of that inheritance, but Sin got in the way. In order to claim His inheritance, Jesus came as a human being and after He had "Cleansed us from our sins"(vs.3), sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the Majestic God in heaven.
He had claimed His Inheritance by what He did, not by anything I did. He staked His claim while I was in rebellion against Him, (Romans 5:8"...While we were still sinners, Christ died for us). My only part is to say "YES" to what he did for me, no more no less. For me to "ADD" to that is arrogance and pride on my part, it is fear not faith. It would be like us getting a brush and telling Rembrandt or van Gogh "let me improve on this".
He said, "It's Finished"!
