Moses went up to Mount Sinai to speak with the Lord.
Moses had 2 stone tablets that he chiseled out the Ten Commandments on.
The Lord gave him more instructions for the Israelites.
The Lord described Himself more: the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin... but He does not leave the guilty unpunished.
He called Himself a Jealous God (do not worship other gods).
He again emphasized the importance of giving Him the firstborn sons, firstborn livestock and firstfruits... as well as resting on the 7th day whether there is harvesting to be done or not.
When Moses came down HIS FACE WAS SO RADIANT FROM TALKING TO GOD that the Israelites were afraid of him (umm...sweet)!
