I like to think that this is where the Greek & Hindu mythological pantheons came from! By no means is this a critical element to my faith, whether or not it's true.
It's just a way to possibly explain the world's religions partial connection to absolute truths. As I don't really believe that both the Greek and Hindu belief systems could have survived as long as they had based on total fabrication. There must have bee some element of truth that breathed life into the system, making it plausible to its constituents.
