At the end of the chapter, It says Jesus didn't do many miracles in his hometown because of their unbelief. The relationship between faith and Gods goodness must be more beautiful than I can grasp yet.
It makes sense in my small mind that miracles would spark faith. But God wants our faith first. Then He builds it with miracles. But I believe also that miracles and blessings are not only for believers. God loves all his people, even if they don't love Him. He blesses them, but they don't acknowledge Him or His works...
There is a different element in Exodus 7 ff. In these, miracles keep happening for all to see.
