Song of Solomon

I have never been able to get my head around the Songs of Solomon. Every time I read it all I can think of is love affairs, lust and such. That is until today. I opened the book to read this morning and amazingly I was seeing it in a different light. Suddenly, all I'm seeing is the relationship between Christ and the church, the ultimate love affair between the King of kings and His bride. And the words used to describe the church are absolutely amazing. So that is how God feels about the church, that is how He feels about me with all my sins, mistakes, weaknesses and baggage. I am His well beloved... What more can I say? All I can do is bow down in worship.
