Abide in His Word

We are so quick to quote John 8:32 "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free" But we fail to read the first part of the sentence.

Oops!

It says clearly that we are to abide in His Word. This takes more than just reading it, memorizing it, or even living BY them. It is a conscious act of living IN them. What that means is that we must have the words so engrained in us that we live, and breath them. THEN we will know the truth, and THEN it will set us free.
