Wow! What an insight came from these verses this morning!

Sayings in the Proverbs often stand alone. There are times that a group of Proverbs stand together.

Building a house for yourself is really a study in character. Inexperience coupled with unbridled desire is a dangerous road to travel!

Building a case against a neighbor without careful, personal heart searching, and careful study of motives on the other side is even worse!

A declaration of intent to "get even" can be deadly!

A spirit of "sloth" hides here. It proves a lack of understanding. It is better to find these things out before deadly consequences take their toll.

Thorns that are meant to protect from intruders on the outside, now drain life itself within!

Nettles that are meant to illustrate the initial cost of a project, now threaten interior decor!

Stone walls, meant to demonstrate the character of property owners, now broken down, become an invitation to conquer!

It only takes a little "sleep", "slumber", and "folded hands" to bring about vulnerability! All of this fuels the "purpose" that intruders tend to have.

Poverty in character is like inviting a thief or robber to take up residence in your house!
