This is an addendum to "Don't Get Stuck"... I had the thought that we all get stuck somehow. Sometimes it's not that obvious. You know if you are stuck in a "victim" mentality. God wants to move us from the town of "victim" to the city of "survivor." but do not get stick there. From the city of "survivor" to the kingdom of "conqueror" but even then, He calls us to the open spaces of being "more than a conqueror."
How awesome is that? So we should always be moving from glory to glory in every area of our lives. We will never "have arrived" but will continually keep on growing, changing, going deeper in Him.
So, that brings me to this chapter 26 Deuteronomy. What is the proper response every time we enter into a new place in God? Gratitude, yes. An offering. And a testimony. These people had to bring an offering and give a testimony of how God rescued them and fulfilled all the promises He made.
That is awesomeness. So the next time He moves me out of the little town of "victimhood" --> to the city of "surviving" --> to the kingdom of "conquerors" --> to the open spaces of "more than a conqueror" -- I must sacrifice something as a sign of gratitude AND give a testimony. Amen!
