The fruit I have been

I guess I have been an Orange. God has been peeling away at my hard colorful exterior. The bright orange show that I put on for everyone is peeling away and revealing this equally as colorful fruit on the inside. God is ripening me to be peeled and used for his goodness! I always ask God to give me big tasks like marriage and changing the world, but I'm still young and not ripe at all! My fruit is still inwardly bitter and not ready to be used in the ways I want to be! Doesn't mean that's never going to happen though. God is harvesting me. This special little orange on a tree bustling with his grace and goodness.

Prayer: Father God, Thank You for taking the time to work with me and the plans you have for you. I am so grateful that you have protected me thus far and are going to be with me forever and never leave nor forsake me. Lord, continue to bless me and give me the strength to tell others of your grace and to stand for you wherever I go!
