What are the things that you complain about the most?

Would you rather have someone who was rude to your face and behind your back or nice to your face and rude behind your back? Why?

When was a time you worked hard to do something, only to have it not work out as you had planned?

Do you find following Christ as easy? or hard? Why?

Read Phil 2:12-18

If the readers had "always obeyed," How could they now being obeying more?

What do you think Paul meant when he asked the people to "work our your salvation?"

Why is verse 13 comforting as we work on our salvation?

Children often argue and grumble. We are called Children of God in verse 15. Why are we called to act differently? Why is this difficult with our current generation? Do you think it is different today than in the time Paul was writing this?

Why can Paul talk about boasting in verse 16 just after (verse 3) he has told us not to be prideful? What makes this differnt?

In what ways does God's word give life?

What does Paul mean when we says he is being poured out like a drink offering?
