HOW TO WIN WITH A BAD HAND!

(This note can be read with the game of Spades in mind as an analogy)

1. You have to practice rejoicing
Praying always (Polytoton)...the most powerful prayer can be argued to be the prayer of rejoicing. You must rejoice even before you're dealt a bad hand.

2. You have to pray requesting
"And with supplication in the Spirit"
When you know what to request, the outcome is always different.

3. You have to persevere with watching
"and watching thereunto with all perseverance"
You have to watch everything around you. Things are happening frequently and you have to watch so you notice them. The enemy comes in like a flood and if you're not watching you will lose every time.

4. You have to proclaim your victory.
"speaking boldly..."
You have to talk and act like you've won before it is even over
