It's All Yours, One Way Or Another
These verses can be wither scary or hopeful, but I'm not sure they can be both. The choice is yours.
God will respond accordingly to the things we do and the choices we make. If we make patient and controlled choices, we get all his blessing and eternal life. If we choose to do our own thing and disobey God, we get all his wrath and fury.
He's not talking about a works based salvation, but a fruit bearing proof of salvation. Those who are truly repentant, regenerate and "saved" will do the things that reflect that change of heart and lead to eternal life. Those who simply give lip service to salvation will talk a good game, but selfishly choose their own way and to disobey God which results in his wrath (and rightfully so)
Which means, it's all yours. The results you get are the result of your choices and changes. Good choices, good results. All for you, all from Him.
