How to live at peace with everyone

Jesus left us an example on how to live among everyone. Christians who demand their rights and to be treated fairly is inconsistent with these verses. We are called to walk like He walked, suffer like our Master. Pray for our enemies like He did, not believing that we can somehow accomplish this on our own. But trusting that He will empower those who believe in His Name (Ephesians 1:17-19) and help us live godly lives (2 Peter 1:3). This does not mean we can't vote, this does not mean we can't stand up for the weak or those who don't have a voice (unborn children). This means that when we do these things that we imitate the character of our Lord. When we ask for a raise and don't get it accept it as God's will or as God's hint that maybe it's time to move on. When your spouse is being unloving or disrespectful don't return evil for evil, that's the Devil's will not the Lord's. All these things we should do gladly never growing bitter or complaining. Knowing that our Saviour suffered for all of us even though He did nothing wrong. So remember to always be kind and gentle knowing that whatever good each one does he will receive this back from the Lord (Ephesians 6:8).
