I think God gives us visions, so we learn to trust him. It's not so much about the vision coming to fruition, but to teach us to rely fully on him.

Habakkuk is given a vision, asked to wait patiently, and then he is told that wealth and arrogance are treacherous. They are the path to death.

As God has given me a dream (a vision) to start a church that reaches people far from him I have learned to be patient, to not worry about money, to not rest on my understanding, and most of all to trust him with EVERYTHING!
