The family business
A passion for the family business…
In our prayer life, God is looking for managers and executives. Children whose passion is for the family business. They are not obsessed with their own comfort and income. Their focus is upon the company and its stakeholders. I've seen business owners (and their children) who took the short, comfortable view. And their businesses failed to thrive. I've known business owners who had to make plans for passing their companies on to strangers because none of their children saw their future in the family business—other than their share in its divided assets.
