This scripture speaks against everything American. Our safety and precaution far outweigh our faith. I see the changes within myself as I grow older, to plant my roots and live a safe life in the country where I was raised. Jesus said, "Foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head." Following Jesus requires the full devotion of those who claim him.
