Submission and communication
in Genesis, after God has place Adam in the midst of the garden to tend it, He instructed Adam that of all things in garden he can freely eat except for the tree of knowledge of good and evil, for surely the day he ate of it, he will surely die.
the Bible did mentioned that by the law is the knowledge of sin and death. so when God says we will die, He is referring to the spiritual state which in turns will be made evident in the flesh.
when the devil tempted the woman, and the fact that she could answer it a few sentences clearly shows that Adam did instruct her the same about the tree. However it is clear that the message was severely distorted and the woman.did not even bother to check with Adam if what she said is correct. This shows the first instances on how a communication breakdown can lead to a tragedy.
another mistake the woman did was not to consult the man but took matter into her own hands. that shows a lack if submission to Adam as the first person having the supposably correct answer from God.
Adam likewise made a mistake by not clearly instructing the woman. But instead he also partook of the fruit and was subsequently taken into the snare of the serpent's trap.
communication and submission. how important they are.
