We Need Each Other- Relationships Day 3
This was a good read and a difficult read for me. I have a tendency to shut people out or keep them at a distance because I am afraid of being hurt. I continually say "As long as I've got King Jesus, I don't need anyone else." This is true, but God created us to have fellowship with Him AND one another. I know that this is one of my weaknesses. This makes me ask myself.. how can I make myself more available for fellowship? I pray that God will continue to build me up in this area.
Another part of today's reading discussed Jesus being our friend because He has made known to us all that the Father has given Him. This is powerful and amazing that Jesus, my Lord and Savior, would consider me a friend. Who am I, but a sinner saved by His Grace? Most won't die for a good man or religious man, but Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners! This is humbling and makes me praise and thank Him all the more just for who He is.
Thank you God for sending your son Jesus who died for me that I may have the gift of salvation and eternal life. You are worthy of all my praise. Hallelujah! In Jesus Name. Amen
