Each of us must understand our times
Sometimes we may pass off important issues of the day facing the Church and our families because we think, "That's theology our pastors will grapple with." As believers in Christ, however, we ARE the church and the responsibility to "be the church" lies with us all. This old testament verse reminds me how important it is for each of us to be well informed, Christ-led leaders for our families and communities. We all need to understand our times and act appropriately based on that understanding.
