Prosperity Gospel Misreading of Abrahamic Promise
Nothing annoys me more than the misuse of Scripture. The focus of the promise to Abraham is God Himself (note the number of times God says "I will"). He is the Initiator of the promise, a promise that has NOTHING to do with assuring me of a BMW, bling, and a big mansion. The entire point of setting Abraham apart with favor is to birth through Him a people from which the Savior will come. Period with a capital "BE QUIET!"
