There are a few places I love to be; my home, my office, a quiet sanctuary, a steaming hot tub on a cool evening. These places are comfortable. Relaxing. I feel safe. I feel at peace. I can abide in these places.

Abide? It's a word that we don't use much these days. But abide means to stay, remain, set up residency, unpack the bags and stay for a while.
