Wisdom and a Good Life
S - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. (James 3:13 NIV)
O - James is saying that Wisdom is something that is shown by a persons good deeds. In other words it's not just smart things someone says. It's how their action back up what they say.
A - I can say that I am wise but the way to really show others that I am is to live a life that reflects wisdom by living like Christ would expect me to. I can be humble to others. Read gods word. Help those in need. Live with integrity. Learn when to speak and when to be silent.
P - dear God, help my actions show that I am wise. Help me to have wisdom and to use it in my life as I live for you. AMEN.
