come all that weary
whenever a person got tired, first thing he will try to find is a place to rest, to refresh himself from the weariness, the struggle, to regain a new strength to move on. where will the person rest? it will be a place where he feels the most comfortable. if you feel that your bedroom is the most comfortable, that's where you gonna rest. if you think a bar is a place to get a refreshment, that's where you gonna go.
Jesus offers everyone who is weary to rest on him, the most comfortable palce in the world. but you can't feel comfortable if you never take time to feel comfortable. how do you know that your bedroom is the most comfortable place if you never stay there? same with Jesus. if you never take time to get to know Him, then you will never think of Him as your shelter. and yet, the offer of resting place never expired. He will await you to ever come and find peace and refresh your tired soul.
