It is not important what people call you, but it is very important what God calls you.
The people called Gideon JERUBBAAL (Let Baal contend against him). In other words, they were saying, "Look out Gideon Baal's going get you."
God called Gideon, "A MIGHTY MAN OF VALOR." God calls us what we can BE in Him, not who we are right now.
The question we each have to ask ourselves is, "Who are we going to listen to God or people?"
