Just call His name

No matter how many times I read this story, it can still speak to me. Can you imagine actually living in this time? Having grown up believing one thing about God, religion, etc, and then hearing stories about a man who is doing all of these miracles. This is what it feels like to be a believer in Christ. I've heard of the miracles that God does. My mother, grandmother, the saints in the churches have all testified about the goodness of God, but about 6 years ago I decided to be like Peter and step out on faith myself. I gave my life to the Lord. I was in the middle of one of life's many storms. I focused my eyes on God and learning His word and I was able to survive the toughest years of my life. Like Peter, when I looked at my circumstances and listened to others who had "sympathy" for me, it looked like I should be taken over by the bad. But then I remembered that I am a child of God. Many times have I called "Jesus!!!!" when things look impossible. And He has come through for me everytime.

Jesus is very real to me. I've tried Him and I know Him.
