invite your neighbor
The gospel first to the Jew then to the gentile. The day spoken of here is of Christs redemptive act on the cross. On that day Christ removed sin from the land in a single day vs 9. He then paved the way for the Jews to use this good news to invite their neighbor's to take part in the Church the vine or tree. "I am the vine your are the branches". This was fulfilled in the Church spoken of as the stone with seven eyes in vs 9 of which Christ is the chef corner stone.
