Mary immediately wanted to fix it and head back to Jerusalem to find Jesus. When Mary found Him she blamed Jesus for what He had done to her. We have a certain expectation of how God should behave in our lives. Just like Mary expected Jesus to do one thing and He did another. Maybe God allows moments of crisis so that He can teach us something great.
Jesus allowed Mary and Joseph to be anxious and scared because ultimately He was doing the will of God.

1 Trust Gods character over your comfort. When life is uncomfortable TRUST the character of God.
2 Trust His word over your words.
3 Trust His purpose over your pain.

When you do these things you will get to the other end of your Crisis and you will be positioned for greatness. You will know that through your struggle and pain that God is working something mighty in your life.
